This filter pack includes one heavy base filter and 6 pre-filters.  These fit our 16"x16" filter pans.  They can be washed and reused many times.  

The main filter is laid over the filter tray and pressed down in as well as it can be.  Material will hang over the outside edges of the pan.  Two or three pre filters are then draped over the top of that filter.  As the top pre-filter clogs with sugar sand it is carefully removed and filtering continues with the next pre-filter.
